Based in Waco, Texas, and in high school, I am a freelance photographer with a passion for capturing individuals through portraits and the energy of sports, particularly football, baseball, and basketball. Beyond photography, I extend my creativity into design, crafting visually compelling posters that tell stories of the personalities and experiences within my subjects.
I started my creative journey at the age of 8 when I stumbled upon my parents' Canon Rebel. Since that moment, my fascination with photography has been unwavering. While I am captivated by various aspects of photography, my particular passion lies in capturing people—be it through portraits, sports, and beyond. Unlike static landscapes that can be replicated by numerous individuals resulting in similar photos, I find people infinitely more intriguing. Each person is uniquely different, possessing their own distinct personality and a captivating story waiting to be told.
I am dedicated to maintaining a consistent and distinctive style that often diverges from current trends in photography. While my work may not achieve widespread popularity, I take pride in the fact that it resonates with my personal aesthetic. Every photograph is a unique expression that is truly my own. In my creative journey, I prioritize continuous learning and improvement. With each new photo, I strive to extract insights from the previous ones, focusing on refining elements such as lighting, shadows, and composition to consistently elevate the quality of my work.
While photography remains a cherished hobby, my true passion lies in the pursuit of higher education in biomedical engineering. The intersection of engineering and medicine has always captivated me, as it allows me to seamlessly blend my interests in learning, researching, and building with a profound understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Biomedical engineering, for me, is the perfect amalgamation of these elements. Beyond the technical aspects, what makes this field truly special is the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others. It might sound cliché, but helping people is a deep-seated passion of mine, and I am particularly drawn to the idea of serving in the realm of medicine. I believe there is a significant need for individuals who are not only skilled in medicine but also God fearing and following, and it is in this intersection that I aspire to make a meaningful impact.
